The Spearfish Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) launched its newly designed website this week. The new, mobile-friendly platform includes dominant visuals and state-of-the-art videos highlighting Spearfish’s quality workforce, successful and innovative business climate and idyllic location in the Northern Black Hills.
“The new SEDC website will be a key tool in our business and workforce retention, expansion and recruitment efforts and will offer innovative methods to promote Spearfish as the ideal place to live, work and do business,” said SEDC Executive Director Kory Menken. Menken noted that the new site will play an important role in future SEDC digital marketing campaigns.
The new website provides quick and easy access to those looking to expand, relocate or start a business in Spearfish. Funding assistance, startup checklists and other business- and finance-related resources will be available to new and existing business owners. In addition, SEDC will continue to list up-to-date commercial properties available for sale or lease in the Spearfish community. SEDC hopes the new website will also be used as both a resource for the community as well to keep up-to-date with SEDC news and events.
Western Sky Media, a video and web production company located in Spearfish, redeveloped the new site. Funding assistance was provided by Black Hills Energy through their Economic Development Grant program.
