Spearfish construction continues to rise at Exit 14.
Ground was broke for the new Lookout Mountain Plaza on April 23rd. The Lookout Mountain Plaza is located off Exit 14, on the corner of Platinum Drive adjacent to Applebee’s Grill & Bar. The event included an overview of the development plan, prospects and opportunities available to existing and new businesses.
“This new addition is an exciting opportunity for Spearfish, especially with the high demand for office space,” said Kory Menken, SEDC Executive Director. “The development will be a nice enhancement to the area.”
The Lookout Mountain Plaza will be an 8,000 square feet facility hosting professional office space. Northern Hills Credit Union plans to relocate their operations to the Lookout Mountain Plaza leaving roughly 3,900 square feet available for professional office space. Local developer Frank Pavich says he’s looking forward to the development of this project.
“This is something we’ve been working on for a period of time and we’re exiting for it to come to fruition,” Pavich says. “Spearfish is growing by leaps and bounds. They had record building permits last year and they’re on pace to do it again this year.”
The contractor Robinson Builders with the architect being Williams & Associates Architecture Inc. Lookout Mountain Plaza is expected to be completed in approximately 5 months.
